🗓️ Family logistics

The week, actually handled.

Family life is the same logistics every week with new conflicts in it. Pango keeps the recurring schedule, who's covering what, and the running list — so the handoff happens without the daily "wait, who's getting them?"

What the AI actually builds

A real plan, kept current as you talk.

A snapshot from a Space mid-project. The artifact lives next to the chat and updates itself — no homework. Share read-only with anyone who needs to see where things stand.

Sound familiar?

Soccer moved to Thursdays, which collides with the late meeting, which means nobody's on pickup — and you find out at 5:55. The grocery list is in someone's head. "Who's got them after school?" is a text thread every single day.

Built for the whole arc

Different shape for every stage.

Each phase of family logistics has its own UX — different artifacts in play, different things the AI is watching. Not one generic chat with a kitchen-sink prompt.

  1. 1Sunday prep

    Lay out the week

The recurring schedule auto-loads; new conflicts surface as the AI overlays everyone's calendar. The carpool and the late-meeting handoff get decided once, on Sunday — not at 5:55 Thursday.

  2. 2Weekday execution

    Run the week

The handoff stays sticky: pickup, dropoff, dinner, the dentist run. Mid-week additions (a forwarded form, a list item, a swap request) update without a 12-message thread.

  3. 3Friday reset

    Roll forward

The week archives, the recurring frame rolls to next week, the AI surfaces what's different about it — the practice that's moved, the late meeting that's gone. You start Sunday already half-set-up.

How it actually goes

The specific moments it earns its keep — not the demo video, the boring middle.

Sunday night — the week ahead

Pull up the week view: practices, late meetings, the dentist visit, the school assembly. The AI overlays everyone's calendar and flags the conflicts before they happen — Tuesday's pickup gap, Thursday's overlap — so the whole week is solved on Sunday, not in real-time.

A practice moves

One line: "soccer's Thursdays now at 5." The AI re-checks pickup coverage across the whole week, flags the new gap, and proposes covers (the carpool, the other parent, a shifted handoff). No 18-message back-and-forth — just confirm.

Thursday 4pm — "who's got them?"

It already knows. The handoff is on the record; the cover got confirmed Sunday. Nobody texts "wait who's getting them?" because the answer was decided when there was room to decide it.

Mid-week — someone adds groceries from the car

The running list is one place, not five Notes apps. Anyone in the family adds; everyone sees it. The AI batches into "shop list" vs "school stuff" vs "thing for Saturday" so the grocery run isn't a treasure hunt.

A school form lands in the inbox

Forward it. The due date hits the week, the form's logged with where it is, and the parent on point gets the reminder — not buried in the email pile until the day-of panic.

Friday afternoon — the week resets

The week archives, the recurring schedule rolls forward, and the AI surfaces what's coming Monday — including the one practice that's at a different time next week. The cover stays sticky; you're not re-deciding it.

What you get

The week, with the conflicts caught

Recurring practices, work late-nights, the school calendar — overlapped, so the pickup gap gets flagged Monday, not at 5:55 Thursday.

Who's covering what, on the record

Pickup, dropoff, dinner, the dentist run — assigned and visible, so it's not re-negotiated by text every afternoon.

One running list, not five

Groceries, the school forms, the thing for Saturday — added by anyone, in one place, not scattered across heads and Notes apps.

vs. a basic AI chat

You could ask ChatGPT. Here's what it can't do.

A basic AI chat
  • Gives generic family-organization tips with no idea of your actual week or who's free.
  • Can't track who agreed to cover Thursday — you re-litigate it by text every week.
  • Forgets the grocery list and the school form the second the chat scrolls.
Pango
  • Holds the recurring week and flags the exact pickup gap the moment a practice moves.
  • Records who's covering what; the cover sticks and rolls forward automatically.
  • Keeps one running list anyone can add to — nothing lives in someone's head.
