Software Engineer, SRE & DevOps
We're a tech startup with a top-notch distributed team and awesome supportive investors. At the heart of our product is Runme an open-source project that turns markdown files into flexible, interactive, testable runbooks that can be easily incorporated into CI/CD pipelines. Our mission is to build a community and redefine the future of the documentation toolchain for cloud environments.
We are looking for an engineer who is excited to roll up their sleeves, learn new technology, collaborate, be creative and participate in all the facets of developing innovative DevOps tooling.
Qualities of an ideal candidate for this role:
- You enjoy working with methodologies rooted in DevOps and tooling popular in the CNCF
- You are comfortable and happy working both at the infra-level, have platformed others, but also like looking under the hood of IaC/DevOps tools
- You contribute to design discussions and leverage your experience carrying a pager to shape the product
- You are proficiency in C/C++, Go, or Rust; and no stranger to Typescript and Python.
- You're comfortable in a startup environment and all that entails
Nice to have:
- BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 6+ years proven record to make reliable infrastructure available to platform others
- Eagerness to help alleviate the stresses that come with "carrying the infra pager"
- Participated in an open source community and made contributions to existing IaC & DevOps tools
- Excited to join an early team
